Project Magnify

Exploring the World of STEM – Inspiring students to see STEM careers up close, with industry speakers and hands-on science.

Project Magnify sparks student interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Hosted at iconic venues such as Scienceworks, the Powerhouse Museum, and Moorabbin Air Museum, the program brings STEM careers to life.

Students hear directly from inspiring professionals—pilots, engineers, forensic scientists, palaeontologists, and rocket scientists—who share their career journeys and day-to-day experiences. Hands-on activities further ignite students’ passion and show them what’s possible in the world of STEM.

Learning Through Lunch

Fine dining meets meaningful conversation with mentors and professionals.

This unique program invites students to a two-course fine dining experience, where they’re joined by volunteers for rich, informal conversations. Together, they share stories about work, school, interests, and future goals.

Learning Through Lunch can also be paired with our You-niversity program to deepen students’ exposure to career and education pathways.

You-niversity

University and TAFE visits that support student aspirations for further education.

You-niversity opens the doors to tertiary education for school students. Through campus visits to universities and TAFEs, students meet lecturers, engage with current students, participate in interactive sessions, and explore the campus environment.

The experience helps bridge the gap between school and higher education—supporting students to imagine themselves pursuing further study.

Industry Visits

Real-world workplace tours that reveal career paths and required skills.

Our Industry Visits program provides students with firsthand insight into the world of work.

By touring a workplace, students learn about different professions, the skills involved, and the education or training needed for a career in that field.
